Il y aurait mieux à faire avec un digne successeur du HR-V.

Commercialisation dès le mois prochain, avec le moteur 1.5 flex de 116cv. R$57.900 en boite mécanique et R$60.900 en boite. Les prix vont de R$47930 à R$62660 au Brésil, ou toute la gamme est Flex, mais ne comporte pas d'hybride.

Honda  a annoncé l'arrivée d'un City avec un moteur 2.0 155cv en février prochain et celle du CR-V Flex

Le moteur 2.0 155cv concerne la Civic et non la City

Honda a aussi annoncé l'arrivée d'Acura au Brésil en 2015

!!!  Et pour l'Europe rien ?  Remarque c'est logique , Honda a bpc de potentiel au Bresil ( comme la plupart des constrcuteurs deja installe) et donc autant investir la-bas....

Cela semble un des premiers exemples des développements spécifiques des filiales locales pour leur région dont le CEO de Honda a parlé il y a quelque mois et qui devrait s'intensifier à l'avenir.

Je sens qu'on va râler encore plus qu'avant de voir les modèles Honda proposés ailleurs et non importés en Europe  ::)

Ce n'est que le résultat d'une Europe de l'Ouest qui a toujours boudé les produits Honda et qui lui préfère l'image de marque des modèles européens ou les incipides Toyota...

Honda plans 3-4 diesel models in 2-3 years

Honda Cars India plans to roll out 3-4 diesel models in the country over the next 2-3 years, Hironori Kanayama (pictured), itspresident and CEO, said on Thursday.

To start with, the company will launch an entry-level sedan based on the Brio platform next fiscal.
It is also studying options in new segments like utility vehicles and compact sports utility vehicles, where it does not have a presence at present.

To be sure, Honda has been missing a large part of the action because it only has petrol vehicles in a market where demand for diesel vehicles has rocketed in recent years because of the price difference between the two fuels.

The new range of products could help it catch up with competition.

Honda said it has started work on manufacturing diesel engines in India at its Tapukara plant in Rajasthan, though it did not share details on capacity and investment.

“We cannot tell you the exact product plan, but we are very very ambitious,” said Kanayama. “We are still working on the sequence of which model and the timing of the launch for the same.”

Honda could consider getting products from its existing global line-up or develop an India-specific product like Brio.

The company said it will introduce the diesel option in the next generation of new models and the next generation of the existing models.

Honda Siel Cars sold 54,427 units in 2011-12, down 8.46% compared with the previous fiscal.

“The future models in diesel will bring us to the right position,” said Kanayama.

Meanwhile, the company is also ramping up exports from India. As against a total of 1,028 units exported in the last 14 years, it plansto ship 1,600 units of its small car Brio by the end of this year to South Africa and other Asian countries.

Proton and Honda ink collaboration agreement

It’s official – the earlier report that DRB-Hicom was set to announce a Japanese strategic partner for Proton today has been officially revealed, and our guess as to which automaker of the four bandied about was correct.
 
There was no press statement regarding the matter, but in a company announcement to Bursa Malaysia, DRB-Hicom said that Proton Holdings has entered into a collaboration agreement with Honda Motor Co. The deal was signed earlier today in Japan.
 
Under the agreement, Proton and Honda will explore collaboration opportunities in the areas of technology enhancement, new product line up, platform and facilities’ sharing, the statement said.
 
It added that the agreement signifies the potential of a long-term strategic collaboration between the two parties, and DRB-Hicom stated that having Honda as the foreign strategic partner will provide Proton and the DRB-Hicom Group with the opportunity to grow as an original equipment manufacturer.
 
No details of the collaboration were announced, but expect more details to emerge when DRB-Hicom reveals its business plan for Proton next month.
