Late january 2011 Mitsubishi Motors revealed Mid-term Business Plan FY 2011-2013 “Jump 2013” that consist of Outlook of Business Conditions,Sales Volume Targets, Product Strategy, Improving the Quality Level, Reforming the Cost Structure , Alliance Strategy and Financial Strategy.
Its latest plan, Japan’s sixth largest motor company is plan to increase sale from 1,000,000 unit/year to 1,370,000 in 2013.Until now, they still not tell about which model to lift sell to that level but Autoten expect Global Small Car or Colt replacement and 8 new hybrid will be important part of that strategy.Although, Autoten see some conflict when they decided to axe some regional models such as the American-specific Eclipse sports car, Galant and Endeavor crossover and European-only Colt.
They say that emerging markets will play a key role in growth as they expects to sell 280,000 more car by 2013 in the Southeast Asian countries, Russia, China and Brazil.They forecast that 20 per cent of its new vehicle sales will be all-electric or hybrid power.

In 2012,Mitsubishi will equip current Challenger and Pajero SUV with plug-in hybrid and in late 2012 they will debute next generation Outlander compact 7 seater crossover with PHEV capability.
In 2013,They will add elcetric version of thier new global b segment car and at the same year they will offer plug-in hybrid version of Mitsubishi Delica D:5 MPV.
In 2014,Customer will get EV version of Mitsubishi EK wagon Kei car.Customer also get the PHEV version of New Lancer, both Sedan and hatchback bodystyle, in 2014.
