RECALL STATUS: 17 Character VIN Required
SUMMARY:

SAFETY RISK:
If the fuel gauge does not accurately display the remaining fuel level, the engine may not start or may unexpectedly stall from running out of fuel, increasing the risk of a crash without prior warning.

Please call any authorized Honda dealer and make an appointment to have your vehicle repaired. Your dealer will replace the fuel tank for free. For additional questions or to get help locating a dealer, owners may contact American Honda's Customer Support & Campaign Center at 1-888-234-2138.
2020-21 Multi-Model DC-DC Converter PCU SW Update Safety Recall
NHTSA RECALL NUMBER: 20V-798
MFR CAMPAIGN ID: K9E
CAMPAIGN DESCRIPTION: 2020-21 Multi-Model DC-DC Converter PCU SW Update Safety Recall
RECALL DATE: 12/17/2020
RECALL STATUS: 17 Character VIN Required
SUMMARY:
American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (Honda) is recalling certain 2020 model year Accord Hybrid, 2020 model year CR-V Hybrid, and 2020-2021 model year Insight vehicles. The DC-DC converter on certain power converter units (PCUs) contain transistors with a high concentration of dopant injections. The increased doping, along with cold ambient temperatures, could amplify the voltage output and shut down the DC-DC converter due to overvoltage, which prevents the 12-volt battery from recharging.
SAFETY RISK:
If vehicle operation continues after illumination of the 12-volt battery system charging indicator, a depleted 12-volt battery can restrict or eliminate motive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
REMEDY:
Please call any authorized Honda dealer and make an appointment to have your vehicle's power converter unit (PCU) software program updated for free. For additional questions or to get help locating a dealer, owners may contact American Honda Customer Support and Campaign Center at 1-888-234-2138.

2021-2022 CR-V Rear Center Seat Belt Safety Recall
NHTSA RECALL NUMBER: 21V-900
MFR CAMPAIGN ID: NBQ
CAMPAIGN DESCRIPTION: 2021-2022 CR-V Rear Center Seat Belt Safety Recall
RECALL DATE: 11/18/2021
RECALL STATUS: 17 Character VIN Required
SUMMARY:
American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (Honda) is recalling certain 2021 model year CR-V and 2022 model year CR-V Hybrid vehicles. The automatic locking retractor (ALR) function on the second row center seat belt assembly may improperly deactivate. If the seat belt webbing is pulled out to the end and the ALR deactivates, the seat belt webbing can retract or extend freely, preventing proper child seat restraint with the seat belt.

ALR deactivation does not comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 208, Occupant Crash Protection, increasing the risk of injury to the child seat occupant.
